Our Story

Hi, I'm Molly, and I'm so glad you're here.

Lamb and Vine has been a dream of mine for such a long time. It is a piece of my heart and a blend of my two passions that have contributed positively to my mental health over the years--knitting and gardening. It is an ode to a slower way of life. A pause. A breath, forever inspired by the petals of a garden rose, the first green blades of spring, or the silent footsteps of a dear in the forest.

 Lamb and Vine was born from a desire to not only create something beautiful, but to contribute to a slower way of living and be a positive contribution to the world, and to your lives. Even the name was inspired by those same thoughts as well—Lamb, as a reminder that these fibers are a gift from beautiful animals, and their welfare, respect, and happiness is a top priority. Vine, because we are all connected to nature, and should be mindful of the ways in which we can preserve her beauty. I am committed to using non-superwash yarns that are ethically sourced from animals who are respected and humanely treated, using ecologically friendly washes, and recycling as much water as possible from our dyeing process.

I hope that when you receive your yarn, you will be filled with the love that was poured into it. May it bring you joy, a smile, and some moments to sit and take some deep breaths.
